Junior Golfing
If your dream is to become the best golfer in the whole wide world, then you better get started at a young age, like Tiger Woods did. Junior golfing is a big challenge these days, seeing that golf academies are popping up everywhere, teaching the youngsters how to play the sport like a pro. So, that would be the first, big challenge for you, young golfer.
Next up, would be to get your own style going. Innovate, don't imitate! You need to teach yourself this, no one else can. You need to find that inner golfer and bring him or her to the forefront. Now you need to develop and sculpt that style.
The only way of doing that, is by practicing. For this, I recommend using a piece of lawn that your dad won't miss, because you're going to do some ploughing before swinging it perfectly. And be prepared to endure some long and good lectures from your dad if ytou picked the wrong spot.
If your dad was the one who got you on to becoming a good golfer, then I'm sure he wouldn't mind. But if it was me, I'd make sure to take you to the driving range, so you can redecorate their tees instead of my lawn.
Okay, let's talk equipment. Luckily you don't have to struggle with your dad's huge and heavy woods and irons, you can get equipment to fit you as a junior golfer. Shorter irons, lighter drivers, then one day, when you're old enough, you can pick up your dad's and take them for a swing.
