Woodhill Country Club Golf Course

Woodhill Country Club is situated in a residential estate in Pretoria. In 2010 Golf Digest ranked the Woodhill golf course amongst the top 70 courses.

This course offers two different halves. The first nine holes of the Woodhill golf course are based on the rising and circling of the hill, whereas the back nine are flatter and more densely wooded. Water comes into play on the 9th, 12th, 15th and 18th holes. Woodhill is a combination of bushveld and a parkland course, with Kikuyu fairways and veld grass rough.

The Woodhill golf course is the annual home of the Telkom PGA Championship, which is one of the majors on the Sunshine Tour.

The Woodhill clubhouse overlooks the 9th and the 18th greens and offers a view across the course and estate. The Pro shop is well stocked offering everything golfers need. The halfway house is a welcome break from this course.

The clubhouse is close to the driving range. There is also a putting green and a chipping green with a bunker. The clubhouse also has bar and restaurant facilities.

The natural environment of the course attracts both insects and birds that are coupled with the growth of the trees.
